Dr. Sonia Wainberg
Hello, my name is Sonia. I am an Osteopath and I have a deep love for this profession.

My dedication to osteopathy is deeply intertwined with an appreciation for the natural world. Knowing that our bodies function similarly to nature itself. I find this to be very comforting. Through this practice, I am grateful to have developed and embraced stillness, attentive listening, and patience.
About Sonia
Prior to my life as an Osteopath, I was a massage therapist for many years. This led to my love and respect for the human body and my desire to understand more. From there, I completed my Osteopathic studies at Southern Cross University in NSW. Since then, I have undertaken many forms of postgraduate study in Australia, the UK, & the USA. I'm also involved with the Australian Research College of Osteopathic Medicine teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate education programs for Osteopaths.
I consider myself a generalist and do not specialise in any specific condition or area of the body. I just love to treat the whole person! Having said this, I’m very interested in movement as well as functional breathing as it has such a massive impact on the whole body.
Outside of osteopathy, I’m deeply creative, and I’ve been developing my skills in embroidery, weaving and knitting over the past few years!

I have a strong fondness for exercise, with a long-standing passion for weightlifting. Recently, I've rekindled my love for rock climbing, finding immense joy in its challenges and thrills.
